GRAVY DISCOGRAPHY
WAVELESS
Gravy's first release was a demo created in 1999
consisting of six songs entitled WAVELESS. Named
for the immortal intellectual, WAVY GRAVY. It was
recorded in Steve's bedroom at 301 Dyches Drive in
Savannah, GA. The quality of recording was equal to that
of a typical Sasquatch Polaroid taken in the 70's. It
featured such Gravy favorites as "What Do You Mean?" and
"Stroking Hoes in E Minor 7th". This CD is no longer
available for purchase but does circulate and surface
every so often.
IT
CAME FROM SPACE (Crystal Gravy)
Gravy's first official release and follow up to WAVELESS
was a 10 track masterpiece recorded and produced at
Elevated Basement Studios in Savannah under the guidance
of long-time Savannah music guru, Kevin Rose, formerly
of Gam. It featured many new songs as well as some
re-recorded versions of those previously tracked. It was
originally titled, Crystal Gravy, but was changed before
release in September of 2002.
UNTITLED
Gravy's most recent work is a demo also recorded at
Elevated Basement Studios. This CD was originally
recorded to showcase the NEW Gravy lineup featuring
Jason Christensen on drums and George Keener (former
percussionist) on guitar. This album is really the
epitome of the Gravy sound standard and features some of
their latest compositions such as "Siege of the Bulwark"
and the hardcore epic, "Tomax & Xamot". Some of the
songs from this session are featured on our AUDIO PAGE
and can be downloaded from there free of charge. |
